With Power over Ethernet to devices to be flexibly and independently of a power outlet inside and outside the building place. Through this technology, the IP-enabled devices are powered via the network cable. In complex wireless LAN installations and in building surveillance with IP cameras reduce PoE components installation costs dramatically, because no power line installation must be postponed. The ALL0486PoE represents the optimum basis to provide up to 8x PoE devices with network and power over the same cable. The switch automatically detects whether a PoE-device is connected and which voltage requires the terminal. Here at the maximum possible PoE stands on 8 ports simultaneously power of 15.4 watts. If a device is connected that does not support PoE, this recognizes the ALL0486PoE and no voltage is applied and thus protect the device from damage. The ALL0486PoE has a robust metal housing. He is also a 19 '' rack mountable, so it fits into any standard rack. The eight RJ45 network ports automatically detect the transfer rate of the connected devices (10 or 100Mbit / s). The full and half-duplex mode, a maximum of 100 Mbit / s per port available.
